The Slide sheet enables repositioning of patients in bed with minimal effort by allowing the patient to slide easily over the bed surface thus reducing the risk of injury to the caregiver.  

Newfound Slidesheets are:

  • Quiet – reducing the potential of patient distress
  • Very slippery – minimising caregiver effort.
  • Soft – lessening the risk of skin abrasions.
  • Easily laundered and dried.
  • Available in two sizes:

Newfound Slide Sheets are available in two styles: with heat sealed edges, or with hem and soft webbing tab to assist with storage.

One pad to do two jobs. A highly absorbent pad with a bottom waterproofing layer ensures moisture is safely retained in the pad until removed for laundering and features a low slip outer woven surface to enhance patient comfort and security.  Features tuck-ins and 2.5 litre capacity.

Bed Mac

Designed to provide added security against moisture entering the mattress our bedmac features a comfortable knitted polyester fabric layer laminated to a high elastic PVC surface. The PVC layer, whilst being soft and pliable for maximum patient comfort, is 100% waterproof. Wide tuck-in flaps provide additional stability securing the Mac against movement and wrinkling.

This product is custom made to fit a wide range of bed rail sizes and shapes.  Manufactured with a washable PVC outer surface quilted to low density 10mm layer of polyurethane foam, our Bed Rail Protectors combine a high degree of patient protection and comfort with easy cleaning and maintenance. Velcro tabs at the base of the envelope style pads hold them securely in place

Waterproof Mattress Cover

Fitted waterproof mattress cover with zip closure manufactured in a 4 way stretch soft finish interlock laminated polyester. The fabric is designed specifically for this end use and includes fire retardant and anti bacterial properties.  The finished product has an extremely soft finish making it ideal for use in Health and Aged care facilities where comfort and quietness are a high priority.
